I know a guy for that...

@Sparky. If you wanted to just assemble them at my place you need the top hats as well. If you want to do the whole swap here, that's cool too. We could the whole thing in about 2 hours.

If I assembled them at your place I would be able to install them without compressing them?

Edit: never mind I see how they go together. I’ll order new top hats tonight!

Well, my wife and I had a nice dinner at the Roadhouse in Renton tonight only to come out to our nine-month-old pup chewing on the steering wheel, looks like I’m in the market for a new one. If anyone notices a steering wheel for an 09’ish can you let me know? It’s a good thing he’s a good looking dog or I’d have to sell him to the circus.

I was going to, since my certification expires this year (expire every 2 years.) But it happens to be at nearly the same time as my daughter's high school softball game. Family first....

Got the rear end of the Turbo turd straightened out and good enough to not draw attention. Hogged out the cat because it was plugged and side dumped the exhaust.
Need to pickup a new starter, anyone running into Seattle next week and want to stop by absolute German autowrecking for me? Don’t want to buy a new starter for $140 when the damn thing cost $600

You get 5 cool points if you know what that vent is for, where the bumper used to be.

Well my GD bro n law ended up with the truck I've been trying to get from a little old lady. She's the fill in/cover secretary at my work but she also happens to be his neighbor. He was gifted it in exchange for yard work/handyman chores around her property. 93 xcab DLX, 22re 5spd with 140k. It was her husbands and has been sitting for 2-3yrs with a blown head gasket after she revoked his driving privilege and then shortly after he passed away. Factory removable sun/moon roof and motherfuckin wing windows! At least she didn't donate it to the blind or some other non profit for a tax write off.

To say I'm pissed/jealous is an understatement, and guess who the first person he called for help to do the head gasket was..... I had to dig through my time capsule of Toyota literature to find my Chilton's manual. I was able to jump right to the head section using the greasy thumb prints. Been there done that a handful of times.

It's pretty much base model, non sr5, with some extras. No AC, manual windows, split bench but has tilt steering column and tachometer in the dash. It's got a few wrinkles around the body but for the most part it's straight and unmolested.

Is that so when you slam the trunk closed it doesn't blow the windows out with the surge of air that gets introduced to the cabin? I've seen vents like that on other vehicles to equalize the pressure. They're louvered to only exhaust air from the inside and not allow outside air to enter the vehicle. :notsure:

Or in @Usethe2nd's case, let the dead hooker smell out while keeping the coal he rolls from entering the vehicle.
