Did you need chains? Or were you good without them?

Bought the truck Monday, yesterday (with less than 100 miles on it) took it out to Stansbury Island at the south end of the Great Salt Lake to get it on some dirt cause I couldn't wait. Not really serious off-roading, but it was fun to try it out off pavement:

Between the snowmelt and the rain, the roads here in Iowa are getting pretty ridiculous

Hit Cleghorn again today - hands down overall the most ideal place to take the taco out to play. Beats even Ocotillo Wells in my books, plus it's close to home!

    Cleghorn Rd, Phelan, CA 92371

Unfortunate Tacoma found along the trail ☹️ owner showed up and recovery was made!

Same question I had man, aside from if the bed cover was for sale

I believe wrong line and turning wrong way while tipping caused him to fully roll it on the side.

Tow truck to get him out basically made it go from "it will buff out" to "shits fucked up now" . She really was salvageable and prob needed an alignment . Now there's alot of work to be done.

Wonder if he's a member here

    Did some SoCal exploring today,
Besides some hikers and bikers it was just me, the truck, and the painted lady butterflies migrating through this time of year :)

Edit to clarify, I know that sign says no motor vehicles, that's just a common hike in this area that offshoots the trail I was on. I even ran into a ranger I was breaking no rules or destroying no nature just drivin on a fire road :)

Definitely a nice truck, I can't speak for the owner to exactly what happened since I we arrived on the trail shortly after the accident, but when he cane back he mentioned just bad line.

Hope he chimes in. I wonder how the truck is doing

Hopefully everyone was okay! Cleghorn chalks up another KO. That trail has spots that are so off camber it’s becoming more and more risky for the average weekend warrior. I only do it on my enduro now. And as dirt bikes continue to use the lower portions, the angles will only get worse.

On another note, I went to Death Valley this weekend, but my Taco tagged out and my enduro did all the exploring. 350miles in 2 days, my Taco will for sure get it’s turn next time I’m there. I was actually bummed to see so many Jeep’s and not a single Taco all weekend. My taco has been to over 13k feet, but this elevation was a new record for me :)
