    P0171 can be caused by a lot of things. Is your MAF clean, is there a vacuum leak, O2 sensors okay?

    I fixed mine by cleaning the MAF.

    Lmao.. laundry list of things. Supercharged engine. From front to rear.... filter was cleaned (oiled filter) filter was replaced and meticulously oiled and let sit so oil would not mess with MAF. Absolutely every possible place a vacuum leak could occur has been once, twice and thrice gone over with carb cleaner, even went with a 2.65 pulley to see if that would help, new bypass valve, no exhaust leaks, new upstream O2 sensor, 7th injector kit was put on, and water/meth kit was put on. My dad has the truck and is trying to get its emissions good so I can get it registered before I get back home from deployment

    I was about to say, the oiled filter is terrible at doing its job. Oil will get all over the probes of the MAF no matter what.

    But the filter is still in there. Lose it. Not worth the hassle imo

    I’ll hbe to see if they have a dry cone filter then. It’s not a drop in filter otherwise I would have stayed the hell away from oiled. Previous owner put on a k&n and I never got around to putting

    I bet you it’s still the cold air intake. I get that code every one or two months until I clean it with MAF cleaner and reset the code.

    Just put it back to stock now. Dump that K&N. Don't want a paper filter, get an AFE Pro Dry drop in (non oil but washable). I've had one for 5+ years, never an issue.

    Could be o2 sensors too. Have you checked those?

    If you’re absolutely certain you’ve checked every vacuum line and fitting then we can rule that out.

    The only reason I keep it is because the sound it makes is lovely. Can’t get that with stock unless I cut a hole in the air box, which will render me delinquent when it comes to emissions testing.

    I replaced the afr sensor. As for the hoses and such... I’ve probably used 4-5 cans of carb cleaner trying to find a leak with absolutely no luck.

    The MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor is dirty or faulty Note: The use of "oiled" air filters may cause the MAF to become dirty if the filter is over-oiled. There is also an issue with some vehicles where the MAF sensors leak the silicone potting material used to protect the circuitry. There could be a vacuum leak downstream of the MAF sensor Possible cracked vacuum or PCV line/connection Faulty or stuck open PCV valve Failed or faulty oxygen sensor (bank 1, sensor 1) Sticking/plugged or failed fuel injector Low fuel pressure (possible plugged/dirty fuel filter!) Exhaust leak between engine and first oxygen sensor
