I took the truck out last night to test the new shocks. They ride fantastic, couldn't be happier. The compression adjustors make a huge difference and pair up with the same clicker settings on my coilovers really well. Full soft at 0 clicks is very soft, it will be great for slow wheeling. The middle setting at 10 clicks keeps the truck stable through the corners and resists bottom out better but is also still very comfortable. Fully stiff at 20 clicks was pretty uncomfortable, but I wasn't getting over 35 mph and was on some bumpy terrain. I'm guessing 20 clicks will be great for fast washboard road driving.

Here's a gif from a bit of last night's shenanigans.

Ha! Love the vid. Cool build man, hoping mine will get closer to this. Love the wheel and tire setup. How were those nv’s and 285/75r16s without the 1.25 spacer? Fitment issues ? How are those STT pros on the daily ? I saw in an earlier post that you daily drive it.

Thanks! The wheel and tire setup was okay without the spacers but the tire would rub slightly on the frame at full steering lock. I believe the stock wheels actually pushed the wheel and tire out more than the NV's did without spacers. If I were going for a stockish wheel spacing, I would probably put a .25'' spacer on the NV's. The tires are just fine for daily driving, I got 2 years and about 30,000 miles out of my last set. Compared to my buddy with BFG KM2's, the STT's are leaps and bounds quieter.

Awesome. I’m torn between these STT pros and nitto ridge grapplers, I hear great things about both but it does rain quite a lot here in NC and the ridge would prob be better suited. But I gotta say those stts are sexy and aggressive as hell and with the sticky red mud we have here they are appealing

Yeah, I just slotted out one of the mounting holes. There's a few pictures of the bumper after I fixed it in my build thread.

I found out about them from a buddy who bough a set on extremeledlightbars.com. I was super impressed with the light output, quality, and ability to use baja designs lenses. I went to buy a set, but extreme no longer carries them. Luckily I found the manufacturer on alibaba and they're willing to sell small amounts of lights for a reasonable price. Only downside is shipping is a little steep. I wanted to do the group buy to get shipping cost down but the moderators didn't like that so much...

Got the final piece of the puzzle for the airbag setup to work. The way my oem muffler dumped, it threw the exhaust into the airbag (not good).

How do those little ones mount? Assuming you are going to use those on the rack?

What muffler did you go with? I'm looking at doing something similar. Stock is going to be in the way of my shock relocation when I do it.

The little ones have a bracket just like the baja designs s2. Two of them will go on my bumper, and the rest on the roof rack.

Power steering went out yesterday and I got a nice ATF painting on my hood. Seem to be plagued with issues lately :annoyed:

I swear on these trucks they're super reliable and then all of a sudden they get cranky and need a bunch of maintenance. I'm hoping my has a better outlook on 2019...
