hey susan, hows work going

 

It's work, what can I say.... go back to regular hours next week. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing

You get moved and settled at dads?

 

almost, little more to do today... then off to surgery

they want to remove the other side of my thyroid... dont plan on letting them have it

 

would you have to be on meds the rest of your life? Seems that little organ is responsible for all kinds of boby stuff

yea thats why im not going to let them have it, luckily i have God on my side... the plan is to let them take some lymph nodes and maybe a small piece of the thyroid to check it

Thanks Steve, just got off the phone with the doc, she had a good night. I'll be heading up to see her this afternoon for a short visit. They don't want a lot of people in and out.

Hi Ben, my mom had lung cancer and had about 1/3rd of her lung removed. She's pretty old (82) and the surgery took a toll on her. She's been in intensive care for 9 days. Seems to be turning the corner today. (I can't find a smiley for "crossed fingers") !
