For breaking the trail, great, didn't clog with snow at all. Traction nannies made me lose momentum in 1 drift.

Dug myself out, backed up, almost hit my dad who was standing behind the truck. Stopped, got stuck again, was digging out again when that jeep pulled up. Once he pulled me back a bit I just didn't let go of the "Go" pedal and broke it all the way through to sugar loaf

Rest of the trail on the other side of Sugarloaf was already broken, no issues all the way to Gold Hill.

We did see a moose on the trail though! Just laying in the middle of it

Was about to ask lol. Yeah Mike was a cool guy, had his son with him and we ran the rest of the trail together. Split off at the fire place monument thing near the end of Switzerland

Had a good time fellas! I’m still going to get an alignment done but truck doesn’t feel out of whack at all and I notice zero difference not having the sway bar on. @thefatkid any chance you could do an alignment on my truck next week?

Can some one with a unlifted (stock) 2nd gen measure from the center of the hub to the bottom of the fender flair? Never actually check what I started at before I lifted when I first got the truck.
    Preferably without armor/bumpers.

Started today’s project. No clue why they sounded terrible.

Replaced all of mine and tweeters with some middle of the road kickers. I think all said and done I was just under $100. Probably the least expensive mod i've done and with the miles I put on it's got to have the highest ROI. Also didn't take long at all to get them all in. Just made sure to have the door panel clips on hand knowing quite a few would break.

Mark levinson decided to use 8ohm speakers and it’s hard to find 6x9 that are 8ohm. Trying to repair these for $15 before I spend money on different speakers.

    Worth a shot for sure.

I just looked at my order and I was off. It was closer to $175. Adapters were included as I went to 6 3/4" round speakers. If I hadn't done the tweeters it would have been about $100-$120.

Couldn't you go with 6.5 round with adapters?
I'd be afraid that would be a waste of time and money and they'd still sound like crap.

I was up in the air about going with 6.5’s. seems it’s 50/50 with fixing the speakers. Some say the sound system sounds really good afterwards and some say it’s worth it to just get different speakers. For $15 and something to mess around with (I have never fixed a speaker before) I thought it would be worth the trouble. Besides all of my money is going into #overland #EAF parts so can’t be wasting it on new speakers.

Constantly tinkering and learning new things along the way is what its all about. It's surprising how applicable the knowledge and/or skills can be sometimes. I DIY on nearly everything unless the cost of the tools i'll use once outweighs having a professional do it, or if I know it's really out of my scope.
