TW RIDE OF THE MONTH Photo Challenge | March

This almost went on my hood last night for a photo.



We have an annual gathering around this time every year, seems like a good time to drink whiskey and eat corned beef

 

my classic 1st gen taco of which I am the original owner at the classic local burger joint established 60yrs ago in this very lot I am standing
also striving to keep my compact truck going 60yrs and looking sharp as i can in this harsh midwest climate ... 1/3 of the way there
i had to put an xtra bag under my display because this joint throws burgers 'n fries in the bag right off the greaser
license plate is modified in pshop to Bronco Red Tahoma font (hope that is 0K )
... on a side note, while posing for this pic by my nephew there was an early 2000s Ram and a V8 Dakota in the drive-thru whose body panels were totally rusted to sheet
and certainly do not look under my hood, I found out a couple hours later that I had left a long loose item underneath

I read online that In-N-Out burgers were tasty when they're cold, so I picked up a couple cheeseburgers yesterday while I was in Austin... let's see if that myth is true. Oh, here's my burger/Taco pic:

Rust sucks. Mine got a new frame, but now the bed is starting to rust. I live in Ohio, so I don't see a lot of rust free older trucks. I love Dodge trucks. I've been looking at some old Rams for sale.

 

So, decided burgers would make a good late lunch early dinner, so I was able to get a photo.



Here they are, getting a ride home. After paying someone to make me a hot burger? Just couldn’t let my hot burger sit on my cold truck for a photo op. As extra proof it’s not just an empty bag.
