    CB drop is a band aid to properly shimming the axle to fix the pinion angle.

    Huh, I did a 3" lift 14 years ago (Donahoe front coil-overs, Deaver rear leafs and Bilsteins) and never did anything about the carrier bearing. Knock on wood, no vibes. That said, I never realized that the rear brake proportioning valve arm needed to be altered. So 10+ years after lifting the truck, I installed a bracket back there for the brake valve arm thingy.

    The BPV relocation isn't crucial, a lot of people don't know about it and get by just fine...I think it probably comes more into play if you're regularly carrying around a lot of weight in the bed. I didn't have one installed for a couple years and put one on recently, didn't notice any difference in braking
