thanks guys for all the responses. I am not quite ready to buy, even though $800 all in sounds great. I have never done any wheeling, but am thinking I would like to try it. I have some buddies with Jeeps heading out to Brown Mtn this weekend, I might tag along. just to get my feet wet...

after reading thru the posts, I will buy from a vendor on here. plus, I kind of want some that I can use as a step too, since I took off my step bars today. I felt like they were taking away from the looks of the truck. just my opinion though.

 

I just put a set of these on my truck today. They're very sturdy. I have about 3/4 of an inch clearance between the body and the slider. I picked these for two reasons. First, every time I price out bolt on sliders it ends up coming out to over $1000 when shipped, and powder coated. These were $549 with no tax, and free shipping. Secondly, most sliders are built to order with a 6-12 week lead time. These were available right away, and shipped the next day. I'm pretty happy with the purchase.

Edit: The only issue I had with these was the installation instructions. They were printed on a broken printer. There was a section of the words missing and the pictures were too light. I used the installation instructions posted by another user near the top of this thread. Thanks @Boomer3731 !

Yeah I actually have a set I bought directly fabricated here in el cajon California at TJM. They have already been tested out on the trails and very sturdy. I ended up deciding on another style though and will most likely be selling my used set in the near future.

 

Anybody have more real world pictures of these installed. I ditched my c4 sliders as they were so freakin heavy, would prefer something close to the body too.

 

i’ve had my TJM sliders for 9 months or so and have gone on several trips to test them and i love em! look great and work great! and the price is even better compared to most brands

Maybe instead of insulting him right off the bat, you educate him to whatever the fuck it is you're getting at? I don't know much about sliders, why don't you explain it to me so I know when I want to get a set?

Ok, Obviously I offended your intelligence.... those sliders look like something on eBay for $200, basic as fuck. No real r&d or design went into those, so they should be cheap. I personally didn’t cheap out when it came to sliders, I wanted something with minimal to no deflection, gussets, bracing, bolt on and guaranteed not to break the fuck off the first time I come down off a 18” ledge onto them. The difference between some no-name company whipping up universal slider kits and a company that does it for a living is obvious. Look at these two pictures and you tell me what’s more quality...
