    Spring is almost here...

Last night more than a thousand robins flew by the house. A few stopped in one of my trees.

    robins.jpg

Wanted to get the "good" camera out but figured as soon as I did they would stop. But they didn't until dark. And a couple hundred flew over this morning at day break. Going straight North deeper into the snow going to be awhile before they find any earth worms.

Shot skeet this morning started out at 18° and was almost 30° by noon. Didn't wear a jacket, hat or gloves it was beautiful out. High house door was frozen shut from the snow melt so only threw birds from the low house. Didn't matter still a great day. Been doing spring cleaning and working around the house rest of the day. And working on keeping the water outside. Did I mention it has been a great day?! Shot well and the smell of spent gunpowder is always a positive way to start the day. Been way too long.

Marty you have a deal!! Keep thinking about that hook jaw brown I caught on the Davidson in February. And wonder "who" is in the boxcar car hole on the North Fork and how big the latest one is. I need to find out :) Tired of chipping ice out of the guides and done it for too many years. I would skip those days if I was back in NC. Nah, the worst day fishing is better than the best day at work!

Snow is down to 18-24" here and can't believe how much 5 months worth of dog poop is already showing. And willow and oak branches. Ugh.

No. And many are in for an unpleasant surprise when they get there if they don't have a supplemental or medigap plan. I deal a lot with Revenue Cycle in the health care industry, it does depend on the State, and your State residency and where you receive care. But best case is still not a pleasant case most of the time. For it to be it is going to cost you. A lot.

Depends, the more you have made and the more income you have available to you from the household that you live in and assets the more you're going to pay. In other words the harder you work the more you are punished. Just saying...

We had a Firehouse Sub close a couple months ago. Still have one in town. They are a good place to have in the rotation.

Well Missy let me just tell ya. I cook dinner and have it ready for my wife when she gets home every night during the week. We go out once on the weekend and then team up for dinner on Sunday or I cook it myself. I wash the dishes as I go and then finish them when dinner is completed then clean the whole kitchen. I don't do the grocery shopping but i am the one creating the meals.
