got to disagree on that one. i cook more than my wife. i cooked with an exective chef when i went to school. he tried like heck to send me too culinary school in NY. wife is a good cook! but when it comes to making a hollindase sauce thats me! and she cant smoke a pork butt or grill anything. i wasnt allowed to check a steak by cuttin it. you learned how to finger test a 30 dollar steak.

Btw, tomorrow I have about 3 lbs of hamburger to cook. So Sunday dinner will probably be burgers and Monday will be chili with beans.

Nobody at all I like cooking. My reward is getting to eat earlier and what i want. I just don't want anybody thinking i am so old fashioned i don't take care of my wife and expect her to cook

I’ve been cooking most of our meals for better of 19years.
I enjoy a break when my wife cooks.

When my wife's away I don't know who it messes with more, me or the dogs. I keep expecting her to walk in the room and start asking me questions and the dogs are searching room by room for her. She typically feeds the dogs so when I do it I get the "what's this" look. The dogs don't do well with having their routine disrupted.

Oh Christie is an incredible cook especially baking. I just like to cook and figure this way i can also control not eating some things I don't like even though i still cook them sometimes because she likes them. I have never liked cabbage since I was a kid, so, I created my own recipe using cabbage and I could feed 4 for like $3

Well I do in the afternoon although she always asks me if I got their portions and meds right (still). But she gets up before I do in the mornings so that she can enjoy her custom combo of Keurig pods (her secret concoction) and the dogs don't even budge when they see me.

    Ha Ha NO!

get a big skillet and brown and crumble 1-2 pounds of ground venison in olive oil. Thinly slice an onion and cook it with the venison. While the venison is cooking core and chop a head of cabbage, not as small as you would for cole slaw. Toss it in with the venison and onion and stir fry until the cabbage is translucent or soft. If you want to spice it up throw in some red pepper flakes and you can throw in a touch of sesame oil or butter if you'd like. Done
This is how it's so cheap I use wild venison so you only really have to pay for the cabbage and the onion

I very rarely use recipe's. I mostly create meals in my head. scary huh? I pretty much look at what we have and think of how I want it to taste and figure something out from there. I created my own stroganoff recipe, mexican chicken fried rice, Fitatas, all kinds of things
