New 4 Runner

My wife drives a 2014 CR-V EX/L that my daughter and I refer to as the Nan Nan mobile. Neither for us have ever liked it but the wife does so kudos to her. She bought it new and paid it off 2 years early and was planning on keeping it for the long haul and has been banking the payment since its paid off. Currently it has 112,000 miles on it and will need tires in a few months but nothing out of the ordinary

We have been married for 22 years and still keep money separate. She has hers and I have mine + communal bills.

Last week IDK how we got on the topic she said she likes 4Runners but would be hard pressed to afford one when the time came to get a new vehicle. I got to thinking about it and figured she put up with my shit all these years why can't she have the vehicle she really wants and now. I asked her if I helped her would she what a new 4Runner and her eyes light up. The deal was she'd trade her CRV + put several grand down. I'd match her down money and whatever her payment was to double up on payments and get the 4Runner paid off in around 2 years or less.

Today we picked out a 2019 SR5 Premium in silver that we'll pick up on Monday.

I got the opposite problem. I want a 4Runner and she won't give up her '98 Tacoma.
