I can honestly tell you never use chocolate wine to make stroganoff it was an awful accident

Would you really want someone in the kitchen preparing you a meal when they don't know what they're doing?

I've never been a big fan of wine, but my wife does occasionally get a bottle so, when it's there I'll use it. She tends to get a slightly sweet, not as dry white wine. A really dry is better. I can see some of those other wines, especially dessert wines being a train wreck. Some are like drinking syrup.

 

I rarely drink anything with alcohol in it. My wife enjoys wine and sometimes I like a nice white especially chilled on a hot day so we usually have quite a few bottles in the basement in the chiller. Try a nice gravertstraminer on a hot day nicely chilled. It can be refreshing it is a very light crisp wine

 

I'm not a drinker anymore. I like an iced tea or just a bottle of water. I'll occasionally go for a diet Dr. Pepper but not enough to keep any in the fridge. I've seen too many folks who were low level diabetic end up in worse shape. Not sure if alcohol was an issue but, between that and just losing a taste for alcohol I don't drink. Before I was diagnosed I would occasionally go for that ice cold beer on a hot day but I got to where I would just take a drink and throw the rest away. I will cook with it though. My son left a case of 805 in the garage so Monday night's chili will have some beer in it. I like to use beer as part of a marinade also.

 

Yes yes I forgot to mention that....hat must be to tight on my head.

Yeah after having low ET I think it was in Q3 to have that happen I was on the fence when that pop happened.....

Up early again. Mary caught herself a cold. Snorning rather loudly. Letting her sleep, I can take a nap later.

You already found them. They're all right here in 50 plus.
I too share in the cooking. I do the grocery shopping. My wife tells me I do such a good job that I can do it all the time.

Not to tight.
I wear a hat all the time. Chest and back haven't seen the sun in 13 years. Too old to worry about a perfect tan.

 

All this talk about cooking has me hungry. I didn’t get to the meat market yesterday for fajitas. Guess it’s chicken

We share in the cooking. Nobody beats my smoked ribs, just ask her.
We go shopping together, so if something is missed its our fault.
The only time I don't have a hat on is at work.
About an hour left then home for breakfast, nap and Corned Beef and Cabbage for dinner (She's cooking)
