If you happen to being doing an oil change on Sunday, and forgot to pick up the Toyota filter from the dealer in advance since the parts dept is closed Sundays...

Autozone carries OEM Toyota filters! I was able to pickup the OEM filters for both the Toyota and Ford Ecoboost Escape when both dealers parts septs were closed today. Sweet!

    57454033419__DC3CB195-9BAE-4055-901E-754DA5C56067.jpg

Edit. False alarm. They don’t carry the larger Toyota 4.0 filter, only the smaller one, which I realized when I was about to pull the old one off.

    Ideal part number: 90915-YZZD3
    Part number they carry 90915-YZZG2

The ideal filter is about an inch taller.

Got back from a 1,756mi road trip to El Paso from Houston and back. . We hit Franklin Mountains, (Where Wyler Skytram was) Balmorhea, Davis Mountains, Indian lodge and Hueco Tanks (all state parks). Crossed the 60,000mi mark so did oil, spark plugs and will do differential fluid and transfer case fluid when package comes in.

Went to Deep River Ct. for breakfast and to start the 3rd Sunday of the month motorcycle breakfast.
Took the Tacoma as I've been sick for the last week and a half and just starting to feel better.
Actually it was 29 deg. and I'm not 29 any more.

Took my backseat Dog cover out and cleaned it. Took my electric leaf blower and blew all the Dog hair out of my truck :annoyed:. Put the rear seat cover back in after it dried. And put the Dog in the truck and went for a ride to get it dirty again o_O

Just a bunch of old crap
Horn upgrade. Running through my SPod. Full electric boat horn, so no compressor needed.

It's set up to fire as a momentary switch, but I can dim it to lower volume, and I can strobe it so it sounds like a train horn machine gun. I redid the redneck zip ties, but f it. Doesn't rattle or move, and it fits.
