    I didn't stop there, I was just saying that daily driving could really utilize 5psi. You're looking at the same track I was on until I found another engine to build. My plan until then was a line of URD products or Map-ECU3:
    URD MAF Sensor Calibrator
    URD AFR Sensor Calibrator
    URD O2 Sensor Calibrator

    Map-ECU3
    MAP-ECU AFR Sensor Adjust Module

    Was on a Cummins 5.9L, output 325hp and 610 lb-ft torque.
    Holset doesn't publish but Google measurements are 806 to 888 CFM.
    Cummins has published it pushes over 60 lb/min.
    Stock it runs 26psi, guys get 40psi out of them.

    edit:
    TurboSmart made a wastegate actuator for this turbo, I got it. It achieves the 26psi with 5, 10 and 11psi springs. I'm running the 10, option for any combination of those + whatever the EBC can provide.

    Honestly I did mine with very minimal downtime. It was more of a day here and there to fix something i didn't do right the first time. God I hate the oil return. If you stage it and do it right I don't think you should have downtime.

    I have a kinugawa wastegate with a 7.5# spring and it sits mostly at that with an ocasoccasi jump to 10 right before a shift

    See that's the thing I worry about, the 3rd gen is apparently some awful chimera of a 2nd gen's brain stuck inside of the 3rd gen complexity. At least, that's how I understand it.

    I guess I was spoiled by AccessPort on the WRX... on that you basically just plug and play a conservative off the shelf map, log a pull just to make absolutely sure you are not over the boost you want to see and your dynamic advance is 100% unaffected, and boom, that's it.

    My truck has a turbo, my tow pig has turbo, my daily has a turbo, if a 2 stroke dirt bike with a pipe is considered to be a turbo then that too.

    Any reason on the first pull my AFR only dropped to 13.28 and on the second pull I was getting 12.06. Im thinking my ECU is still learning. :notsure: Anything else I should log? Torque only seems to have a 1 second refresh rate regardless of how many sensors it pulls. I'm still a little gun shy on stepping on it since I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for. I dont want this thing to blow when I'm out in the middle of bfe

    Dropped the truck off with a local tuner Monday, told him I need the knock threshold set, vvti dialed in and ignition dwell set. Three days later none of that was accomplished besides telling me my dwell was already spot on :rolleyes:
    Guess I'll have to wait until I get back mainland before I can get a REAL tuner, at least the other two "tune" shops I contacted before him were honest and said they couldn't it
