Ok, so the mortar will hold it in place? It does have 4 feet that I have shimmed under and was going to glue them to the ground once I knew how to hold it in place.

If it was designed to sit on slab. Maybe don’t put as much mortar where feet are. If you put too much mortar it’s a bitch to wiggle the tub down into place.

No I do not, sorry. The bottom flat slopes towards the drain and the four feet are round and about 2.5” tall and about 2” round.
Just, strange that there is no nailing flange to hold the thing against the wall.

I’ve set many like that. I’ve had to measure, dry fit tub, outline in pencil, all kinds of bs . Never knew what I was getting into until I showed up. Then between the homeowner and “builder” had ideas of what they wanted but in reality they all just had their heads up their ass and I had to say at times won’t work, but we can do this.....

Understand. I am going to pull it out one last time to check the fit on the ledger boards and then put it back in with the shims under the feet permanently in place and lift the front side I can mortar the base.
Then go under the house and finish of the drain for it and call this “opportunity” done...

A lot of times I’ve either set one against rock on walls or everything was tiled already , and they dumped all their trash in tub hole :annoyed:

After crawling around the attic for a few minutes and seeing no trace of the Cat 5 I decided to crawl back out and assess which direction the cable went in the wall, apparently it goes nowhere but used to run outside.

Now I need to decide how I want to do this.
I just ordered a new router to use instead of the ISP router so I will try that first to see how complex I need to get.

So I started pressure washing the fence today and it is going to. Wear my body and my OCD out to get it all done. I want to just stop and call it good. Do you guys think these two will be drastically different enough to bother finishing presssure washing it? Using $800 worth of an oil based penetrating stain/seal.

What's the stain you are using? Unless it's a solid body stain you'll probably notice the difference between the 2. Do the instructions say anything about a cleaner to use?

Oh yeah that would be nice. Hard part is I don’t have exposed joists, they’re under drywall.

If I dropped $800 on oil I’d for sure finish power washing

Seriously tho why so much $ for the finish? Must be a really long fence lol

Sounds good. Got a can of foam sealant for any bigger gaps and bought enough sheet and insulation for the project.

Ran CAT6 cables to all corners of the house for POE cameras and ran another line to hardwire an access point router in for better coverage. Re-sealed all the doors with new trim rubber and thresholds.

    Garage reno starts tomorrow!

Run an access point drop into the garage too if you can. Better to do it now, than later. That way if you end up spending the time in the garage you think you will, then you can add an AP later on and have great coverage. Depending on your network that is...not everyone runs what I do.
