Super jealous of that workspace. I'd be happy with half that space! Not saying I would get any more done but still would be niiice.

Those look nice Matt! any thought about cross bracing them or more support than just the weld at bumper? I guess it is pretty unlikely that something hits there...Just curios, Not that I know what is strong enough.

Think he ment the uprights for your swing outs.

With them up so high, you'll get a flexy/bounce to them with wieght on them.

Those rear ext brake lines are a pain the ass. Mission accomplished though :woot:. Glad my buddy came to help me . brake lines bled and onto the next task of my ever growing list. This never ends does it.

Nope (unless you move up to a Tundra or Raptor, then it's just a different neverending story)

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

He mentioned something "hitting there" so I don't think he was talking about the uprights.

But... If he was talking uprights... Those are braced as well. They bolt to the locations where the tailgate strike plates used to be.

The uprights also are not just but welded to the bumper. They are assembled like this. Fully welded down the back of the bumper.

I though he meant the bedside bars that Matt just showed the supports for. As for the uprights that hold the swingout, I see they mount where the tailgate used to be.

Edit; oh, Matt already chimed in!
