Imma call it 20.25" on both sides at the moment. I can't find the numbers from when I first got it, not that they should be any different. I might not even have written the front down, since I think the only time I did was the first time the rear springs were replaced and that was all that was changing/I was concerned about.

That'd probably work just fine. I'm actually attaching my panel to my prinsu today. I have brackets that I used to attach it to the basket that I'm going to use on the prinsu and the bed rack to hold the cables. I'll take some pics when it's done.
As long as the adhesive on those holds up to the elements you're probably good. Do you have an RTT that goes on? It looks like from your pic you wouldn't hardly see the wires anyway if it would be on

Yeah I have a RTT. There are a lot of different options I'm considering with it. From making a bracket to go on the rack to just screwing it into the bed

This is what I just did for the cables. I may relocate them more up inside but my main concern is keeping them off the paint and rattling.
When I had them in the basket worked their way down to the roof and rubbed some paint off.
From here I just zip tied the cables together and tied them in to the bed rack. You won't even see them when my RTT is on and they are secure. Plus this way I can disconnect and remove my battery box easily if needed.

It was all a package deal and it came with 10 gauge. 20 feet of it which was way overkill. 15 feet of that is wrapped in a loop. Most definitely wasting energy.

Was a CORE event, and i was planning on being in Fruita this weekend but plans changed.

    https://www.keeptrailsopen.com

But you'll be happy to know there will likely be an extension of carnage canyon going in sooner than later. It's a short but pretty challenging section.

18ft is overkill for the distance from the panels to the controller. I sent you a pm with the link to the adapters you'll need to run the 2 panels in parallel. You will need that tray cable wire length from your charge controller to the primary battery though, 16-18ft should be enough for that application.

So what does being a member of CORE entail? Being that I’m quite a ways from BV, not sure how active I could be. I see they have a $20 “friends of CORE” donation and $50 member donation. For $30 difference, being a member seems like a better deal. Do they use the funds to aid in trail maintenance/clean up?

Edit: Seems like a good cause, just became a member.

Awesome! Yeah like you probably found on the website, there's a lot of working with the govt agencies to get the voices heard of the trail users, assisting with cleanups, repairs or building trails. Right now it's mainly Chaffee county, and most adopted trails are in that area. But trying to get the kinks worked out and everything running great there and could be expanded. They are starting to work with Park County... But Park County is as is expected, one of those.. "Lights on but nobodies home" type of places.

A FS guy for the area was with us for the run as well as scoping out the likely new trail route.

Nice! Like I said, it’s a good cause and if my $50 donation can help I’m all for it.
