Yeah I’m still getting the error. If I drive in a straight line. I can go for miles no errors. The minute I have to turn.. the error goes off. I’m living with it since either way I’m not much of a distracted driver but I may eventually just go OEM.

    A few....
I plan to try a couple different solutions that I've read about here and give it some time to clear up. It's such a mix of results. Some are having little or no problems while others are waiting weeks or even months before the errors clear up. I'll report back with any success.

I purchased the SevenSparta Pro Grill and garnish off of Amazon and hope to find time to install it today.

Is just the adhesive tape backing on the letters enough, or is a little glue added a good idea?

From what I can gather from earlier posts, the only tools required are 10mm ratchet and socket, a flat head screwdriver and wire cutters. Does that sound right to everyone?

Realistically, how much time should I dedicate to the install?

I got the same grille put on over the weekend. It’s pretty easy, should take no more than 30 minute to an hour. I’m getting an error though (warning icon that front end collision is off). Trying to trouble shoot to see if I can make error go away.

I feel like there's a variable that we're missing. For some to have an error code and others do not.

My grill wiggles, a little bit and seems similar to #1405 post. Where it only turns off after I do something. Ie turning, braking, or accelerating.

When you change the position of the camera, even the slightest, the vehicle needs to go in for a re calibration. It is designed to work in conjunction with other sensors and being off even the slightest could cause issues. One of the reasons I am leery of trading up, if I do i will keep stock or make sure i have money set aside for a re calibration after lift or tires are installed.

I just completed the install. I ordered mine from mexicantaco with the OEM grill garnish. I haven't driven yet to see if I have errors, but I will report back. Overall I was impressed with the packaging and the quality I received from mexicantaco.

It has been posted multiple times but the sensor will need to recalibrate itself. Took mine about a week of driving probably 900 miles or so.

I have a chinese grille with no sensor cover.

For those of you who need the push nut washers for the factory TSS Grill Garnish (2018-2019) here is the Ace hardware item. I paid 00.50 cents each at my local Ace hardware store, Midwest Fasteners Item No. 71927-G:
    20190316_123726.jpg 20190316_120349.jpg 20190316_120329.jpg

Beats paying $6-8 off Ebay, Amazon and the stealer ship.

Tip: Coat each push nut washer with Rust Olem primer and black enamel before using.

I’m interested to see how many people used that method.

The two bottom clips seemed to keep my garnish attached securely. I also dabbed some gorilla glue on the top two posts that poked through the grill. The garnish doesn’t seem loose to me at all, but if using the washers cures the TSS ills, I’ll definitely give it a try.

Update here. I didn't have to wait for the sensor to recalibrate, and I never got a TSS error.

Hi y'all, I'm looking for aosomeone assistance. I just installed the oem pro grill and cover. The last few trips after driving 5 miles or so the forward collision warning system and dynamic cruise control turns off. Any idea on how to fix this?

Give it some time. It will go away after a few minutes, then you may never see it again. I had one after I installed mine, OEM grill and garnish. Only had it one or two times and it lasted a minute then it's gone. Haven't seen it in a few months. Might be a way of calibrating itself. Don't sweat it.

I've gotten it last 6 times. It only resets when I turn off the truck.

I got mine or only a few seconds and then it went off. Try unplugging it and plugging for a few minutes, make sure the garnish is tight and flush. Plug it back in. See if that helps and maybe disconndi the battery.

This whole time I've been having issues and ready to give up and go back to stock..... BUT

I learned that the sensor garnish I had installed was in fact NOT OEM. I ordered from madhornets and added the option for the sensor cover. The sensor cover they send is a fake and does not function with the TSS.
Ordered an OEM sensor and zero issues.... So happy that I diagnosed the issue I was having.
