Installed a new gasshole and gave it a bath. Dam salt in MA is everywhere!

 

For aluminum you want 1/4”. I run the RCI 1/4” aluminum skid, weighs only 5lb more than the stock tin foil ones and way stronger. It will gouge more than aftermarket steel, but for me skids are an insurance policy, not a heavily used item.

 

They are right?!?! I put a set on in December, I would have got 35s if I knew how small the 315s are. Oh well, I really don't rub anywhere now.

Ya, you are probably correct, at that price I shouldn't expect much, its only been a couple of days, we will see in a couple of months.

 

Was going to finish my painting for my retrofits today but my paint reacted. I painted it white first and the covers black, but I broke the covers and painted underneath it black. Even after letting the paint dry for 48 hours (the white paint) the black still had horrible reactions. Going to attempt to acetone the black paint off, re scuff and clean it all with out damaging the good white paint around it.

I had Krylon Fusion All In One do that same thing. I did everything correct. The paint screwed up itself.

 

Just a 5k tire rotation today. Usually accompanied by an oil change but ran the Mobil 1 extended protection shit for the winter. I hate oil changes in the snow.

 

Damn... should have bought rustolium. I'm just going to sandblast it and paint it all black probably.

 

Removed Front differential needle bearing with my home made tool. Waiting on the ECGS bushing.

 

Just saw those today. Was tempted, but really want matching for the back seat. Hope they work for you.

Added wireless charging to my RAM X-mount/Tech Deck setup.
Finally decided to stop "wanting" to modify my x-mount to "actually" modifying it. Well, not much of a "modification" to the x-mount, just pulling off the center disk that's taped on there.

Pulled the rubbery backing material off the back of the Anker and used heavy duty mounting tape to attach it to the center of the x-mount. A short USB cord later, and I've got wireless charging of the iPhone X!

 

Installed my Ride Rites today.

Brought the back back up roughly 2” no more saggy rear end.

Ordered Daystar cradles for them because I realized the suspension won’t fully droop now.

How'd you run the wiring for the back lights?

 

Found a cargo net from a Pontiac grand am in a junk yard. Wondered if it would work as a cargo net in the truck. Hangs lower than I was hoping but it will work.
