Dipped the wheels without taking the tires off the truck. Turned out better than expected. Now that that’s done, it’s time to go play some Division 2!

It's a beast, at 12lbs. Sturdy without a doubt. Combo / key as you can tell. Install is super easy; Remove the two bolts at the bottom of the console and replace with the extended ones they supply. Also, you will need to remove the underside of the console lid for the install (six tiny Phillips screws - don't drop them ). I was fortunate enough to find this from another TW member at a reduced price, as it is one of the more expensive ones out there.

You do lose some volume, but it fits my G20 (snugly) so most any full size should work in there. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I installed them myself. Took about 3 hours spread over two days. Fingers are sore but it was well worth it.

If you mount the resistors flush to metal, the metal will absorb heat from the resistor thus becoming a heatsink for the resistor.

 

I set mine out in the sun firvabout an hour before I installed mine. Had my dad help took about two hours and slid right on. Looks great. You can’t go wrong with them.

I have no experience with Katzkins but these were $599 after the TacomaWorld coupon code. Quality is great, several people have looked at them and asked if I got factory leather.

 

It was warm enough today to finally start some plastidip projects. First on the list, dipping the TSS garnish to get rid of the sun glare for photos. I'll be able to test it on the way to work tomorrow morning.

Clazzios are seat covers that go over the cloth seats. Katzskins are replacement covers, so you need to remove the original cloth seat covers. Due to more complexity, I believe most people have a professional installer do the Katzskins, so they are typically more expensive. On Clazzios, only the centre section of the seat and back are leather. The rest is vinyl.

I have Clazzios, and the quality is good for the price, however as "covers", I find they loosen up over time, and are not as tight fitting. I notice this mostly on the driver seat, as the passenger and back seats don't see much passenger time. They can be tightened up, however I don't think they will ever fit as well as a true replacement seat cover like Katzskins.

There’s also plastic behind that part I drilled into, wasn’t sure it the heat would heat that plastic up, with it being literally on the back side, touching the metal...

 

I installed new radio knobs from eBay. A lot better than the factory knobs. Also installed the MESO Customs map lights and dome light. I am very impressed how bright they are well worth it.
