Think it will fit on my tacoma frame

 

Thats trippy. Your house is wired like the industrial facilities I work in, with seperate sub-panels. I dont see why you couldnt put a double pole 240v breaker in your normal panel like the rest of the world.

Whats really trippy is you cant kill power to everything with the flip of one switch with it set up like that.

 

Just anal is all. It includes sealing washers to help not mar the finish. When you tighten them down they get pushed off center which looks like shit. Sealing washers are cone shaped & get squeezed flat on installation. They're not intended to be reused, the rubber seal with eventually fall off. They're not intended for this type of holding strength. Sealing washers work ok for their intended use but not for a battery tie down. If you install them the first time & don't ever remove it then you'll be fine.

 

Maybe differences in local codes? I have no idea. If I could shut off that panel I would’ve done it myself. But I wasn’t ready to work on a live panel.

Loaded the wife's car and hit the hills in search of adventure. We wanted to get familiar with the new RTT before the season hits. My Taco is still in the garage awaiting more maintenance, so her car it was. We wanted to try the annex out. The plan is to keep the doggos in there while we sleep. The snow made us hesitate and we decided to try the annex out on a later date. The first assembly could have gone a little more smooth, but everything went pretty well though. Can't wait to get it mounted on the Taco and hit the trails here pretty soon...

@zero4 Ive been center punching metal before I take it to my drill press. Is this a good practice, or does Center punching with a drill press make no difference?

 

Good practice. Those cheaper drill presses will have some wobble in them. I dont typkcally do it on the mill at work though.
