Good to know. I had not ever heard of Clazzios before today. I got a Katzkins quote last week for $1645 which includes parts, shipping, labor, and tax. This is cheaper than the dealer wanted. I could not find a truck like mine with leather at the time. I’ve only had the truck a few weeks and the cloth seems fine, but I’m concerned about stains and wear for long time use. I’ve had leather in everything for the last 30 years except my last vehicle, a Jeep Wrangler. Black cloth seats were horrible. A real dust and dirt magnet. Not to crazy about covers. I think I’d rather have the upholstery replaced. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Suggest you review it. Lots of satisfied Tacoma owners with Clazzios, which based on your quote, look to be about 1/3 the price of Katzskins. Up to you to decide whether Clazzios are worth the extra cost. Almost everyone installs Clazzio covers themselves. I would not bother paying someone to install Clazzios. Easy enough for most people to do.

If the dealer didn't add protection to your seats, do yourself a favor and treat them with Scotch Guard. The stuff really does work. I reapply every 6 months or so. I've spilled coffee, coke and all sorts of gooey things on them and it just wipes off like they were marble counter tops.

Discount Tire bought mine also. Mine had around 15,000 miles and got $200. Probably could get more $$ if you’re willing to wait.

 

Added amber grill lights and swapped my lug nuts to black.

 

I think the plastidip will interfere with the TSS.

 

I think snow, ice and heavy water cause refraction on the signal, hence the computer's confusion. Some folks have used thick Tupperware without issues, so it's worth a try. If not, I'll just peel it off.
