"if someone wants this truck and is a good negotiator you SHOULD be able to get this truck for $30K (plus tax) and not a penny more!!….figuring what they gave me for a trade in plus doing the rotors and brakes(AGAIN!) and them certifying it, they will still make plenty of $$$....trust me!!...if you want this truck you should play hardball and stick to $30K......just saying!!"

I was dead serious about this!!…..start at $29K.....go in hard and tell them how serious you are!.....but stand FIRM at $30K......tell them you know the previous owner and you know EXACTLY what the trade in was and how much it cost them to certify it and that $30K gives them plenty of profit!!….

I’m also pretty sure Toyota corporate gives them money to certify the trucks...

maybe so but I have no idea......I was more referring to what needed to be done to the truck to bring it up to their "certified" standards.....like oem rotors and pads, etc.....they obviously left on the TRD SEMA rims, the Caliraised LED light bar and I can see the Undercover Ultraflex bed cover.....so they know these "perks" are eye candy and will help it sell faster...

go in and try to get it for $30K!:boink:

srsly tho have you considered throwing a listing up on eBay? If people in the rust belt see an AZ truck they'll pay a premium, would be worth getting it visible on the national market.

That's a good option. I may go that route. What do you think it's worth? Even tho your opinion may be bias since you have the exact truck haha :)

    No deal.
They didn’t want my trade. Took it to CarMax got a solid number, came back then we couldn’t make a deal all parties were happy with.

The deal wasn’t horrible, there were just a few things I wanted they wouldn’t give me.

nice truck!....kinda high mileage for that price IMO.....supercharged is great but only adds a premium for the right buyer......I'd price it at $32,999......and my rock bottom sale price would be $31,000 to $31,500......again, just trying to help...….and I just traded in my 2015 PRO inferno with just under 40,000 miles so I think I have a pretty good idea on sales price especially talking to the Toyota dealer about it in length

I think your asking price is very fair for what you have, given that it’s the starting point for bargaining.

That said, if you can find even one person who’s looking for a supercharged 4.0, likes leather, and values an exclusive Pro, he’ll pay a premium for it cause it’s such a rare combo. That’s why you need it on eBay or another nationwide listing, to find that one guy and get a $2-3k more than you would locally.

I’ve sold some cars/trucks and a lot of saxophones that way over the years, and can tell you that marketing + patience absolutely pays off.

Have you posted it up here in the For Sale section?

I'll second that remark about the Clazzios. I have them in my truck and they're awesome. People who get in my truck dont realize they're seat covers.

Too bad, sorry man. It’s hard to get the stars to align for both parties on trade deals. Positive vibes your way for working one out soon :fingerscrossed:

Thanks for the reply. All very valid points. I am going to check ebay out for sure. I haven't posted it here because I am a new member and don't have the access yet. Long time lurker, just not very active.
