    So some feedback on the weekend playing for those of you on the fence.

    The dark zones is incredibly easy to level up and very small so dont anticipate extracting too much gear. Almost everyone I've ran into so far have been cool about not going rogue and stealing gear (assume that will stop when the game gets older). Most gear you pick up is not contaminated so that's a balance.

    Crafting: you need materials but once you make it, you have it for every weapon it fits. No multiples for different weapons. Each mod has pros and cons like +20% stability and -10% accuracy, etc. Side missions give you weapons/gear blueprints.

    You will get surrounded and molested by every enemy. No med kits but you can replace your own armor. It takes longer and you'll probably die a few times if you dont plan accordingly. You dont need to empty an entire magazine to kill them but heavies will be tough. Targeting specific pieces of armor will destroy them and their health will start going down. Like focusing on an unarmored leg will take their health down, not their armor.

    My armor replenishing drone and turret will randomly disappear. Seeker mine will do the same after it splits. Maybe a glitch or something? The cooldown time after it happens is 15 seconds.

    Other than that it's a huge map compared to the first one with tons of enemies. The civilians will help if they are around and are pretty effective when it comes to defending control points or patrolling. Can even revive them.

    I think they addressed most of the issues from Division 1 for sure. A couple of times the guys I run with ( @medic2230 @ETsemaj ) the game will freeze. So far it has left one of our crew "in mission" and all was not lost. Really my only complaint are the spawns that magically appear thru a wall behind you. That didn't happen last night though so maybe the latest patch addressed that :notsure:

    the fact that they fixed how op heavy's were in the first game is probably the only reason im still playing, definitely feels like they just copy pasted the first game. still fun though.

    same, my buddy convinced me to get it so we could play together but he's off rotation right now so all he does is sit at home and play it so im level 5 and he's like level 20 something, like alright

    I have noticed that when trying to throw the turret or the seeker, the arc will disappear and you have to switch to a grenade to cancel out of it. Also turret and seeker will disappear right after deploying sometimes.

    I haven't been able to play as much as I have wanted the last few days. Daughter is out on spring break and all her friends are gone on vacation somewhere so I'm having to keep her entertained and teaching her how to drive (that's a story in itself :rolleyes: ).

    I'm still learning the game because there are a lot of differences between this one and the first one. I REALLY like the fact that you can craft scopes, muzzle brakes, mags, etc... only once and you have them for whatever weapon they fit on and don't have to craft them for each individual weapon. The enemies "seem" to all be wearing armor which is much more realistic when it comes to shooting crit shots. If you shoot the enemy in armor it's going to take more rounds down range to kill them. Head shots are pretty much a one shot kill. I'm only level 12 right now and just clearing shit out. But what I've noticed is the AI is much more intelligent this time around so you have to have your head on a swivel which is why I think you are constantly getting "agent in need of help". Even though I don't know how to help them when that prompt comes up? I've had a couple of instances where "I" needed help and no one showed up. On the main missions where you actually might need some help hasn't been a problem getting a group. I've crafted some armor and it is good armor but it "generally" isn't a set piece of armor even though it has high stats. But you don't get the set bonus for having 2-3 identical sets of armor to gain the stat bonuses. So my armor is strong but most don't provide set bonuses. Last night was pretty rough running by myself since the AI is very good at flanking so I try to find a area that I can control without being flanked. I do like that you really have to think out your engagements before actually engaging the enemy.

    The seeker mine is hit or miss for me so I stopped using it. I've noticed that sometimes the mine just follows me around instead of rolling toward the enemy (which is what I want it to do). The turret is especially good if placed in the correct position as the enemy will focus on the turret which will allow you to flank and get the shots off. The healing drone is nice since it will save you from having to use health packs.

    The main issue I have right now is my weapons. I've got some good ones but if you are going after an enemy that is a couple levels higher... it's a death sentence for you. I still like the game and will learn over time on what is the best way to progress through the game.

    Let me ask a question... I'm only sitting at level 12 right now because I haven't had much time to play. I do not understand how the Agent requesting help feature works? I've done it a few times when I knew that I couldn't clear it by myself. I don't understand how that system works? If a request comes in for someone else how do I join them to help them along and vice versa? I know my guns aren't the greatest right now but they aren't bad. It seems like the first game I blew through the story line without any trouble at all. Don't get me wrong... I love the changes they made and now you really have to think out your battles. But I get stuck every once in a while and could use some help. But the Agent requesting help is hit or miss at best.

    I don't understand it either. Last night I couldn't even call for backup and I really needed it. Nobody has ever assisted even when I could call for help. Also, how can I be a level 18 but can't drop a NPC 16 without using 2 magazines of 30 rounds. Yet they can drop me with 3 rounds and I don't even have a chance to replenish my armor. Bullet sponges are back at the very end of the President Mission when you have to kill Roach. Dropped him 4 times last night only to be killed by a NPC spawn out of the floor. I gave up after 2 1/2 hours.

    I should have quit after an hour of trying but I'd get so close. Then either run out of ammo or get killed by a BS spawn. Safe to say I hate that mission. I agree with Murph though I should have been using the Hive Revive and not stinger. Stinger does no good when they just absorb it all.
