There are a number of anchor screws on the inside of the hab. These hold the tent module to the walls. The same bolts are visible under the overhang.

There are mounting tracks along your bedsides that the hab bolts that big angle of aluminum to.

If you draw a plumb line from the bedside angle up to the roof of the hab, you’ll form a polygon roughly triangular in shape.

Take a T of aluminum and mount with the leg of the T along the top of the bed rail. Drill the bottom arm to mount to the bedside rails. The upper arm drilled for mounting to the gear wall. The upper mount can be an angle drilled for the existing tent module mounting bolts along the horizontal side of the angle, and the gear wall on the vertical side of the angle.

Then use what you want with quick fists, maybe some 7ply 1/2” marine plywood with t-nuts and through bolts to form the gear wall.

    Something like this.

Figure I should ask in case a used one pops up for sale ever

What would you pay for a Habitat with windows? Used in good condition lets assume.

Here's my thoughts, which could obviously be way off! ;)

In June last year we paid just over $11K installed at Equipt, new, not used. We had one option, which was the roof rack for $800ish. I've read the base price has gone up since then, too.

Used, in good condition, I bet you'd be seeing 9k-11k for one with windows, depending on other options and the person's hurry on selling. A smart seller would probably play up the lead time you'd be waiting if ordering new which would help keep the used prices reasonably high.

You might get lucky finding one at this price or lower, but maybe you could just start saving for the extra couple thousand for a brand new one. If a used pops up, awesome, but if not you'll have a backup plan!

I’ve always had shit customer service haha! Everyone I’ve talked to so far that has one on instagram has told me they just tell you a fix and “goodluck.” Yet to talk to them directly though! Just was looking more into AT and so far that’s what I’ve heard

I had holes form in my brand new tent immediately after buying it. One of the owners met us on the road in Colorado to inspect the tent and damage. He offered to have the tent replaced by his crew on his dime if I drove to Prescott for the fix. We were on our way home and there was no chance at that. I have been behind the scenes in the Overlanding world for a while so they shipped me a brand new $6k tent to replace it, with hardware to boot. Total cost to me, 4 hrs of time. They even sent me a replacement sleep platform to fix the problem. They changed some designs to fix the glitch.

When it was found the tents were not seam sealed they sent out kits to everyone effected.

You also have to remember, some of here have the very first habs off the line, so we deal with our R&D time.

Overall if I had to do it over I would. Only change I would make is getting it painted to match.

I have had FAR worse customer service from CBI and AllPro. And none of this community is as bad as the gun world. Talk about shit customer service!

You also have to consider the people on instagram, and their mentality.
