A lot of those are "track use only". :(

It would be so fun to have that GTR-R34 on the street. Even as an "old guy", that would be a blast just to cruise and occasionally WFO the skinny pedal...

The only thing that I can afford in that auction is the Sentra...maybe the Venza if I downgrade my lifestyle.

Also, what the hell is a Cefiro?

I have the TRED's. I wasn't really looking to buy but while in WA a dude sold 4 for $200 so I didn't pass them up. 1 slightly used and the rest were new.

Edit: I guess I should throw in I like them. I haven't had an issue and used them pretty heavily up Argentine last spring

Check out YouTube, some aussie did a review of maxtrac vs cheap knock offs. The cheap boards did better than expected, but his point at the end was longevity. Sitting out in the sun for a couple years might make the cheap boards fall apart?

I would go for the cheaper option and avoid mounting in full sun 24/7. Just toss them on/in your truck when wheeling, and not mall crawling.

In the process of researching. Figured there would be a good variety of brands with the people here. That's what I do with most of my gear anyways, only put it on the rack when I go wheel.

Some of the Xbull reviews say they get brittle in the cold and will crack.

    What haven’t I changed?
I have a pair of the Tred Pros, mainly because they were cheaper than Maxtrax and they've allegedly improved the teeth on the boards. My main complaints about the Tred are that they don't stack as tightly as the Maxtrax and the Tred Pro mounting handles stick out like the goddamn Burj Khalifa compared to the Maxtrax locking pins, but they're not something I keep on the truck all the time anyway.

Yeah I was thinking that as well. Was contemplating on alternative solutions. Supposedly Maxtrac locking pins will work on the Tred Pro mounting system

I think they do but may need some modification or spacers for a tight fit.

I’m not sure how @Deathbysnusnu and I ever survived all of our off-road adventure without a Factor55, MaxTrax and a ham radio with 497 channels :rofl:
