I’ve been looking at one for those Viair compressors. Is that what you have? If so how has it held up?

The wife bought me one for Xmas. I haven't used it yet but she got me a really nice one.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000X9B32M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

She had a gift card and caught it on sale so it was only like $150.

I have the VIAIR 300P Portable Compressor in the farm truck and have beat it all to hell and keeps working great. I did get rid of the hose that came with and installed quick fittings on it and keep air hose behind the seat.

Thanks for the feedback. I wouldn’t need to use it all the time but at least 4 or 5 times a year during deer season and turkey season when I go out to the lease. Sounds like I should invest in it.

Viair makes great stuff. I have read they can be better than ARB in some cases for a lot less money.

Well, I sorta hinted at this one for a couple reasons. One, it is automatic, so if you are moving around the vehicle fillings all your tires it will shut off when you are not filling. Compressors heat up quick and are only efficient when they are cooler. The other reason is the size of this one. It is rated to fill larger tires. I figured I would be good up to 35" tires if that time ever comes. In the mean time it will work less prolonging the life overall. I keep it in a heavy duty storage crate (black with a yellow lid) tied down in the bed of the truck, locked under my tonneau. If I didn't have the tonneau and a locking tailgate it would be behind one of the rear seats. I think it would fit there. It's kinda big.

Very cool. I guess I need to start searching for install posts on here. Do you know if there’s any easy way to tap into the rear plug power for this

I'm sure there are posts on here but the Viair are 12 volt so it runs off your trucks battery. They all come with alligator clips and long leads. You just open the hood, clip on and you are good to go.

Viair also sells On Board systems that are serious AF!

Haha! That's crazy. I'm always in a pinch and need the dough

Lately, I been thinking about it. Taking them down just because it's the coin and also just one other thing for somebody to try to get :(

Edit: I know if I take some down I will want to sell them, but I really like them.
No sir, bought it second hand off a very gracious member on here. He had mad mounts via large quick fists.

That is the problem with certain patches I like (always end up selling them though). It's like it is an awesome design... but... I can buy a lot of useful things for $400
