Yeah my first several months to year were similar quality, untuned printer and pretty weak parts because I didn't know any better.

Once you start printing stuff that needs to fit together, or you're getting frustrated with parts breaking too easily, that's where tuning comes in. People think 3D printing sucks because parts are weak, because they printed or bought from someone with an untuned printer using the cheapest plastic they could find.. If you take the time to figure out what you're doing, you can get surprisingly strong parts though.

You won't ever compare with metal of course, or even high quality injection molding, but I still get surprised by how strong some of my things come out.

 

Any of y’all able to help my friend out even if it’s just for a few weeks? She’s an amazing person.

 

Yeah I plan on getting a bit heavier into this in May. I graduate with my MA is April so I have a lot going on.

I’m trying to understand what everything is right now. I have some upgrades on the way. I’ll get there eventually.

Unloading wood by yourself will increase grip strength. I didn’t carry I simply clamped my fingers as tightly at the top and carried quickly. I haven’t screwed anything together and still need stall mats. Also 8x8 is fucking huge in my downstairs.

Will be a nice deadlift platform. Most gyms you go to don’t even have this.

 

yeah, I saw that. A guy on youtube called Overland Generation did it in a barely modified "newer" grand Cherokee and we wont be doing all of it. The good thing about that site/map cords is it shows/labels harder sections. A couple say "deep" water crossing which i would obviously never try either. I agree with the not going alone but my schedule isn't flexible,more rigid is a better term. My wife is back on for the moment so we might try this or explore cherokee NF/ east tennessee.

 

Is it just me or did anyone else like the way the shadows are falling on the truck. I think that would make a cool graphic. Didn’t notice the bed rack until I figured out it was a shadow.

Meant to say cool not cook and really would like to ride that trail also, just can't do so for now. You have plenty of time to see if you can touch base with some others that might want to make that trip at the same time as you.
