Replaced my cabin filter yesterday. The problem I have is that I don't remember which way i removed it. The new filter has arrows on it saying " Flow" How do I know which way the " Flow" is...... Upon further trying to resolve the problem. It seems that the fan pulls the air down toward it. Meaning the "Flow" is from above the filter to the fan? Help Please. Thanks in advance.

Without going out to look, I'd think as long as the "wording" is facing rightside up, that's how it goes.

I think you are right, the fan sucks the air through the filter and in to the cabin so the arrow should point down.......I think:confused:

you can put it in upside down.the only reason it has a flow direction is where the pleats on the end of the filter where cut.the end of the pleat fits in the channel on the cabin filter housing, sealing it better.

You can always turn the fan on and see which way the air goes...

Well I've changed my filter twice and the dirt and debris is always on top so I guess the flow is towards the fan.

Arrow is supposed to be facing up; at least the Tacoma specific directions that came with my filter said so.

Behind your glove box. If you want to see a picture of it, just click on the mod link in my sig and you'll see the slot with the door open behind the glove box in at least one of my pics.
