A short amount of reading tells me what I suspected. Not a good idea to try.

Any opinions on 5 degree vs. 20 degree sliders from RCI? Looking to buy a set but not sure which degree to go with. The other half likes the thought of having a step with the 5 degree, but I'm thinking it might be better to hug the truck a little tighter with the 20s... Also planning to get a tread plate if I go with 5's and not with the 20's.

I didn't specify what ones i had but guessing 5 degree since they were pretty flat. I think they were close enough to the body. With that small extra but they would stick out would give you a little more protection. One of the best things was they make great protection from car doors and some truck doors.

I never had an issue with no tread plate on mine, but if you have small people's feet or dogs to worry about, I'd go with them for sure.

Self fixed the furnace after the power out. THANK GOD! Took us a few days but finally fixed and we have HEAT!!!!

Someone call El Paso county to plow our roads....wait...I did that and it took them a bunch to plow. Granted, the Blizzard hit hard but at some point in time they have to dig us out.

Thankfully our neighbors (myself included) did a train of ATV w/plows and snow blowers to get us to Hwy 105. Great to have awesome neighbors!

I ask again, after every snow situation, "why do I pay taxes?????"
