    This is 100% why I bought a Tacoma for my commute in rural Alaska, and, not judging, 100% why I don’t pass in snow storms when I can’t see the road ahead, especially passing semi’s. Glad everyone got out alright!

    No storm. Clear weather. A bit of packed snow in the left lane but nothing most of us would blink at. The issues were massive closing speed and a perfect storm of visual irregularities all rolled into one. I just read it wrong and it almost cost us more than some inconvenience and a few bucks.

    Yeppers. That’s why I’d like to bring it to light in hopes of finding a way to avoid it again. This type of accident is on the rise out here according to the highway patrolman I spoke with. You simply can’t see them through the spray they kick up and the speed differential is insane. I won’t get into the plow driver behavior I witnessed on the way to recover personal items the following week. Frightening and dangerous.
