Removed some dead weight I haven't used in 2 years and hangs too low besides. If I can get it altered to be accessed behind the license plate I'll remount it. Ass is 38lbs lighter now.

No, it's the black rubber strips you took off the roof when you put on the rack. I'm looking to buy some if I can find used ones in good shape so I thought it check if you had yours still.

its a crappy one, and that one was the prototype so it has a couple flaws that the others dont

I don't like the fact that you cant adjust the springs on the 6112s . Youre relying on preloading with the strut to get your lift. Did your ride quality suffer at all?

I've got some really nice extra super duper long travel +6" stock SR5 coilovers... ;)

I'm all stock for now. Trying to decide what to go with.

What kind of problems? I've had a couple sets of ome/5100s on first gens and 3rd gen 4runners with no issues. Just don't know if the 6112s are worth the extra price

who ever owned the truck before me installed them improper so the coil and the shock was hitting and rubbed a hole in the shock and made it leak and fail and to me id never own a 2.0 shock to twiggy unless its a fox the ome and bilstien 5100 are tiny little things

Yeah I don't understand why the second gens come down to a small little point and the first gens stay the same diameter all the way down to the bolt hole. Probably more then anyone ever needs though.

idk ive seen the 5100s snap near that bolt hole because they are so small so i stay with larger shocks to prevent that

KCTaco, I have a question about the brake upgrade you discussed. If my reading comprehension is correct it reads that the 2014 4Runner front disc, disc guard, and calipers will work on the Gen 2 Tacoma's. Did you do this upgrade? If so do you have any recommendations? Thanks.
