Mild port/ Garrett Gt3582R / Haltech
Last dynoed at 596rwhp. Very conservative tuning.
Can only go so fast and so far on an island crawling with cops. 2900lbs and 596...its pretty fast.

 

Just wait till you see someone with his actual tails on their truck.
This kit is awesome tho. Brighter, more uniform and just works better.

 

agreed. The wife isn't into the whole mod scene but even she said it was a big improvement.

 

Very nice! Meth or running e85 or race gas? Those are super impressive numbers. Mines tuned conservatively on 93 and 16lbs and made 429 to the rear wheels. And even that feels plenty fast to me lol my tuner makes just over the 6 mark, and I see how easily he pulls away on me so I have a pretty good idea how fast yours is lol

 

This car is strictly non ethanol.
It stays under cover and goes out every few months.
Its pretty scary how fast it picks up speed.
Anything over 400 is pretty fast for an Rx7 since they're so light and not many can keep up on the freeway. A good downforce is needed though and good suspension. When I was in Japan , picked up full HKS coilovers. Amazing how it keeps everything on the ground with very little bounce. After 100, forget it. Bye bye.

 

My left side turn signals started hyper flashing last week. But only when they’re on for an extended period of time. They start off normally, then after a while, start hyperflashing. The right side is fine.

Anyways, my front turn signals and mirrors are stock. No resisters installed. I’ll install the resistor on the left side when I get a chance to see if that sorts it out.

 

Exact same for me, have not installed the resistors yet either. Are you getting hyper-flash in reverse when a turn signal is on too?

Anyone have any input on how the VLED’s that come with stage 2 compare to diode dynamics brightest LED’s (xp 80’s)? Would the diode dyamics fit into the stage 2 kit?

 

Same here. Seems some trucks react differently.
Besides the hyper flash in reverse, all bulbs work flawlessly (no resistors).

I * thought* I needed resistors because all bulbs are stock. Tested everything with resistors, took pictures with truck idling, all bulbs flashed ok.
Took truck out and first turn signal it flashed once. All bulbs were ok at idle but not in "D". I needed to unplug the resistors.
Not sure what is the difference at idle and in "D". Just weird but no big deal.

 

The xp80s will fit right into the 7443 socket. Keep in mind they are $90. per pair. You'll need 4 pieces.
The VLEDs should be plenty bright since all 4 are lit now. Even with the stock bulbs it's bright enough.

 

I had the same problem! Fine at idle so I went for a drive and on the highway I got the single flash only. Removed resistors and they’ve been perfect since I think meso is spot on going forward, install the kit then add resistors after if needed
