Happy Birthday @Noelie84 ! Drink some of the nice stuff today, or don't. I'm not your supervisor.

Well it's only about 2 hours less sleep than I normally get; not like I missed out on half a night. With enough coffee it might not be too bad.
I'm at work, lol. Just another day :notsure:

Thanks! 35... Not sure where that came from?

    Thanks!

    Coffee right now. Whisky later.

My age will start with a '3' at the end of this year, seems like I've been in my 20s for a long ass time (not that I'm complaining).

It'd significantly increase my error rate at work, mostly.

Your 20's do take a while. Or at least mine did. Lots of different GF's (and the associated drama) in the first year or two of my 20's (don't miss that at all), then bounced around a few different jobs, multiple apartments, two house purchases, etc. Lots of goings-on. Now I've settled into a routine, which is probably why it's moving so fast. Same house, same GF, same job, etc.

    Thanks!

99B3671F-65D8-4817-BC3E-74366BCA8483.jpg So I’ve had a 2019 SR5 with 10k as a rental car for 5 days now (company car in the shop). I’m not sure where all of the 3rd Gen hate is coming from...it’s fine. It has let me experience a few “weird” shifts but if I understand correctly these transmissions are supposed to learn driving habits and this rental has probably seen everyone’s worst. The SR5 trim level is fine, as you would expect. It’s a nice, tight truck that feels capable of what I would expect it to do.
I am glad to say that any desire to look at a 3rd gen. for purchase has been lessened...the work that has gone into my ‘15 sport has really heightened my enjoyment of it. Even my wife (who prefers an auto trans) says she prefers my truck to the new one. She’s either playing it smart to keep me from checking out “newer models” or she really is a keeper! I’m guessing the latter...

I've been asking myself that for a while now. I have a feeling 36 will come long before I figure what the hell happened!

My '19 4Runner is the first automatic I've owned in the last 11+ years. Hasn't shifted weird at all. It's the older 5spd though. My girl's '16 Rav4 has the 6spd AT, and sometimes it seems like it can't decide what to do. Sometimes it hesitates, and sometimes it feels like it's slipping. Not sure if this is what the 3rd gens are doing.

Right. I'm enjoying my 30's way more than my 20s. 20s was a lot of trial and error. 30s is just living life end enjoying it.

    Happy birthday bud!
