Loving the Step stool. Great for maintaining the Tonneau cover, wheels and accessing the engine bay-etc-etc.

It'll certainly be an upgrade to the wet towel I've been using.

I have one and I like it. Very easy to use, auto-off for the battery. I originally bought for hand loading. If it breaks, I'd get another.

The best thing I ever bought from HF in my life was the socket organizers. It has made finding the right socket so easy. I used to just have them scattered around a drawer and have to dig for 5 minutes only to find the right size in the wrong drive!

Nice, I didn't know they had those. I've only seen the shitty metal ones. I do need to check them out.

These are a good alternative to the Hansen organizers too. They're both affordable, but HF does check off the boxes.

That is the thing. HF is my go-to tool store, but I am not a pro. So far, I have only had one HF tool fail me. Their exhaust expander. Total PoS, but no big deal in the scheme of things.

If I were a pro, I would buy with caution. Like you said, it isn't how it feels when new, but how it performs in a heavy duty cycle. Also, most pro tools are designed for abuse outside of the norm, such as giving a $$$ tool to an employee that is just going to thrash it in a way that the person buying it themselves would never do. They are at least honest about their review ratings even if they tend to put the 5star ones always the top.

I have seen some stuff from HF in pro shops. I always meant to ask about the durability but have not yet.

20190319_210243.jpg I used my wife's fingernail polish to paint the tips red. That way I know if anything is missing after I work on something.

Thanks for reminding me, I have been meaning to pick up a few socket organizers for a while now, but always forget. I'm like you were with my sockets everywhere, it would be nice to have them organized so DIY projects don't take longer than they have to (swear I have about 5 -10mm, but never one when I need it).

Well, working aviation in the USMC taught me about tool accountability. After buying these trays, I bought any missing sockets and haven't lost any since. I still have A LOT of work for the rest of my drawers!
