Bucket to bench seat swap

Currently have 2 bucket seats and a middle console in my 2000 regular cab tacoma prerunner. What bench/split seats would be compatible to bolt right in with minor modifications and would certain years from other tacomas work?

95.5 to 2004 bench or split bench will all be direct fit. cloth is different in 95.5 to 97 and 2001 to 2004. 98 to 2000 have the same cloth pattern you have.

 

Thanks for your reply! Where would you suggest looking for the seats? Not much pops up on a basic web search. Other forums suggest salvage/junk yards. Is this the way to go?

yup local junk yards or you can try http://www.car-part.com/ , craigslist, ebay, etc. Just will take some looking around.

 

Keep this updated, It would be cool to see a swap work out for "free." That's what's best about Tacoma world is the information available and willingness to help of most members.

Even considered complete seat from junk yard and found a couple however they were in worst condition than what's currently in my Tacoma.

 

I might want your buckets also, put me on the list. I do have 60/40 split bench driver side (so I only have a 60)...has a small tear on driver side that was patched. Let me know, I am in Cali.

 

Sorry for not being active in this chat. Update: Not having much luck with finding decent quality seats at salvage yards/eBay or craigslist, but still searching! I did confirm for my own peace of mind at a salvage yard with a 98 and 01 that did measure with measurements to my 2000. Did come across a 95 that did not match up. What do you refer to with the 95.5?

And Yucel, if the offer still stands, what color is your split seat? And yes, I am also in California(southern to be exact).
