You just need the top nut for the shock? If stock shocks, I have extras and have a spring compressor to assemble for you.

Well shit, y'all making it easy to spend my money!

Im really hoping I'll get at least 1" out of this 3rd gen setup, i dont want to end up losing height and then gaining even more in the rear with that AAL resulting in some super rake. But... i do need to lose this spacer lift rough ride. Do you have the center pins for that AAL too? Im not sure that i'll need them, assuming the previous owner had his replaced when he stuffed my current AAL in there.

Im pretty far from Cotati (Manteca), i work this weekend too. Santa Rosa taco shindig is like a month away, im not sure you wanna wait until then? I still need to pickup my skids from BAMF

I dont think Jerry wants to babysit my product for that long so i may need to head that direction sooner :anonymous:

I'm confused, how do you expect to get 1" from stock suspension parts?

Supposedly, 3rd gen suspension will give a 1" lift to 2nd gens (front only).

The internet says so, it must be true!

Interesting, I did not know that. Wasn't trying to imply you're wrong BTW.

No offense taken! I wasnt trying to be a smartass either.

I am scared of the unknown, so i have a habit of not believing things until i see them for my own eyes and always anticipate the worst case scenario. I will be stoked if i can swap this stuff over and improve my offroad ride quality without losing what little lift i have.

If you never opened them im sure theyre in there (theyre supposed to come with them, like you said).

what makes me nervous about all of this, is that comparing measurements it seems like ive got more than 1" of lift on my truck currently, even tho all i can see are 1/2" spacers up front (for the sake of conversation i will only be talking about the fronts)

Hub to fender im at 22.5" ground to fender im at 37.25" (1/2 an inch ground to fender is due to my 265/75's) edit

Lotta guys are saying they are at 20/20.5" stock.... now, i know were not using the most accurate methods of measurement here and that there has to be a margin of error. but god dammit i can read a tape, ive measured multiple times in the past 10 minutes just because im OCD like that (measure thrice cut once?)

THIS is why ive left it alone for the past year and a half since i bought it. Opting to just do it right instead of trying to find a temporary solution.

Now im second guessing this whole operation lol The struggle is real(ly in my head)

I’m on a 3rd gen with 886s and 5100s and am only at 22” middle of hub to fender. My brain hurts thinking about them sagging that much with no additional weight or if I can’t use a damn tape measure!? So frustrating. I feel your pain.

yeah so, im on (what appears to be) stock SR5 suspension, with 1/2" spacers... and im sitting taller than you are. It makes no sense to me

maybe i cant measure accurately enough, and theyre 3/4" spacers, but still, that shouldnt take me from 20" to 22.5". Even if i was off by 1/4" measuring it, the numbers just dont add up lol

So unless the previous owner swapped for 3rd gen SR5 stuff (because it seems identical to the OEM SR5 suspension) and added the spacer. that would bring me up to 1.5ish inches of lift, which would make a little more sense. Its just odd and it kills me that i dont know. I knew not to buy a truck that was lifted by someone else, clearly i was in a daze and blinded by the rush of buying my first truck (finance that is) and skipped right over my own advice lol

EDIT! Ive made a discovery, i am an idiot. will update in a sec

Im so dumb, i noticed this white sticker a looong time ago, but theyre in a hard to read place and i was too stupid to read them. Sticker reads OM(i cant actually see the E) 884x

Well.... That makes a ton of fucking sense now. Havnt felt this dumb in a while.
