    Is it just me .....
A buddy sends me a picture of one of the 3 batteries from his rv.
    IMG950440.jpg

I say damn that is going to be expensive . I thought he had 4 batteries . He replies a little only one battery blew ....These batteries are approx 5-6 years old. Who else would just Remove and replace all regardless of them checking ok ? My fear would be putting charge / discharge load on them etc with out really knowing if they are ok I internally

Love watching warbirds flying over every year at EAA time. Can always tell when P-51s are overhead just by the sound.

On a guess froze it is from the house batteries of the RV so it does have a trickle charger too so could be either .

Usually a batt won't freeze if it's fully charged..
So if he didn't have the trickle on it..
    But,......
If it was discharged and he fired off a circuit and they are in parallel
    Boom boom..

The F-101 is actually a Voodoo, we have one of those also.. :) But it was back at the hangar, we didn't pull it over show front..

The one at our show belongs to Jim Tobul, it's called "the Korean War Hero" it's still siting there, I think he's leaving it at our hangar till Sun N Fun in a few weeks.

My question is and was who would only replace one , based on the failure and the age of them I would do all three to keep them balanced and replaced at the same time. Yes expensive but better then wondering if another was going to go or when.
