Yes, I do. The pull of the motor is just excellent when I get on it. And, it cruises so well.

Interestingly with the extra power, I find myself staying further away from the limiter. I used to brush it almost daily. Now, I'm shifting in the mid-5ks even when screwing around. I have to consciously keep my foot in to get above 6k.

I'd really like to try a 2nd Gen MT. From fading memory, I think the FOB tune pulls harder down low. I know that is a bold claim, so I cannot say for certain.

Just imagine how much better this may get when we see the ACIS mods and single table torque stuff for M/T...

    LoL!

I am excited about the single table and am anxious to read about what was found about ACIS during the dyno testing (Need. Blog. Post!). Did Toyota get something right with this motor? Or, does it need to change? This is coming from a unicorn Taco that doesn't feel a torque on the FOB tunes.

I believe 4.56 is only for the 8" rear ends, not the 8.75".

So, go to the dealer and get them to put 04B04 on?

I can do that. They have to replace my A/C fan motor anyways! :|

Either that or wait. The base tune is still pretty sweet. You could also update the ECU to 04B04 yourself through techstream.

I don’t think 4.56 gears are available for the 3rd gens from Nitro or Yukon according to my research

I’m back to the gear drawing board. @OVTune you mentioned an issue with running 5.29s and hitting top speed? What’s up with that? If I’m on 35s would that still be an issue? Currently on 33s but planning for 35s and want to only regear once haha. 4.88 or 5.29??!

if you are going to do 35s, run 5.29s.

the tune currently hasn't been adjusted for aftermarket gears or tire sizes.

Just got my cable today and flashed 87 perf. Just got one word. Wow. Well, maybe a few more words than that. I'm seriously impressed with how it drives. Go-pedal responsiveness made it feel like I'm in a much smaller vehicle like my wife's miata.

Im having this issue also. i haven't said anything cause of what Mat said. Im hoping he can do something about it. It feels like the truck is bogging down, almost like a carbureted quad/dirtbike.

    @speedtre Thanks for this.

Having some issues with x64 Windows and the drivers. Lots of very confusing information out there for non-computer nerds. Anyone get the registry edit to work to allow the installation of MVCI drivers?

If so, is there a good, comprehensive link to use? I'm struggling to find a reputable source for the file.

This is what everyone has reported to me, that when you swap to 5.29s the speed is limited to 85mph. I have not personally tested or created a fix yet.

04A60. I have techstream so may update to 61 later just wanted to play this afternoon. I'll also eventually bump it to 91 perf but I'll run through a few tanks of 91 first.

If you have the tune and tactrix cable you don't need any other driver.
