It's St. Patty's day weekend. Plenty of events. I know the Gaslamp basically shuts down and we are going to an event at Grossmont center.

 

Saint Patricks day weekend, downtown san diego is doing something. Ocean Beach has a few bars, the harp is doing stuffs. North Park, south park, little italy are like the craft beer neighborhoods

Probably a stupid question.... but are there any DMVs around San Diego that are less busy than others?

So getting ready to start my battery relocate from the engine bay to the bed and from my research it seems like it could be as simple as this..

1) Add two distribution blocks in the engine bay for positive and negative connections.
2) Connect all the existing wires that were on the old battery to the distribution blocks.
3) Run two 1/0ga wires (ie. red and block) about 12' long covered in nylon mesh loom from the distribution blocks to the new battery in the bed.
4) Run a short 1/0ga wire from the new battery's negative to a frame ground in the bed.

Do I need an inline fuse on the positive wire? Would a breaker switch work instead?

 

Who would like an afternoon of free beer, lunch and wheeling?

All you need to do is provide a bit of manual labor. I need to move my stuff to a smaller storage unit just down the hall in the same building.

Novo Brazil Brewing is just across the street and has a food truck (The Brazilian Guys stuffed hash browns) there from 1:30 on. The Otay Mountain Truck Trail is just up the road, it's mostly tame but there are interesting parts.

I'll be there at 9 on Saturday the 23rd and will be there until my stuff is moved over and arranged. Any help will be welcomed and rewarded.
