Called St Croix rods today checked up on which rods I have registered. The two I did today have fifteen year warranty. Two have expired. One has three years left.
Of those that have expired, if I damage them I can call , then ship them out and get a new piece, or a new rod for a reasonable fee . These come with a brand new warranty. One rod is about $200 new( for example) and would cost about half of that or less.

 

That being said , does anyone recommend a lanyard or something that will allow my rod to float if I drop it in the drink while fishing in my yak?

 

I always keep a type four throwable PFD in my kayak. I tied my fishing rod to that with a thin nylon cord. But, I don’t fish out here.

 

and let the 4 hours of listening for the alarm panel at work to go off begin!!!!

its 67 here and rain.... not cool... i want to try a new antenna on the truck but cant with this weather. just keeps reminding me if i buy a house this summer/fall, i need a garage that the beast can fit into and still have room for work.
