This is why we buy first gens with 100k on them. Still good for another 200k. Well, and because they are way awesomer in general than all this other new flimsy, leaky, rattley shit.

I thought buying an 07 tundra wouldn't be so bad but it's still around 400.
Its trucks are commercial so it weight, plus value plus everything else including the extra taxes everyone voted for.

Finished the new backyard hidden ice chest project. Had a broken igloo thought I would be a hippie and give it new life.20190319_173448.jpg 20190319_173428.jpg

That is sick, wish I had those skills at handling wood...

Not sure why that counts as being a hippy though.

Recycling a cooler instead of throwing it away. Saving the planet. Duh.

    She ain't stock anymore.
So with REI's 20% kicking off on Friday I think I'm going to get myself a fridge and I'm looking for some advice on what size would be good for me.

They have the Dometic 60 and 46 liter and the 70l dual zone and the ARB 50 and 63 quart. I had originally planned to go big and just get the dual zone, but I'm not sure how much I'd actually use a freezer and thinking it might be a bit big for just me, and its just plain big and not sure I want to give up that much space in the bed once the Drifter comes. Cost isn't too much of a concern since I got a huge dividend this year due to using the fuck out of my REI CC and with the coupon I'll be able to pick up the most expensive one for about $500.

So, does anyone have a dual zone and how useful is having a freezer and it is worth taking up that extra space?

I have a dual zone, but I only just got it wired so I've yet to take it on any trips, but I wanted a freezer because I love ice cream, and I think it's nice to be able to freeze meats for extended trips. But 70L is fucking huge, mine is the 54L overland pros and even it is way big, bigger than a normal 54L fridge.
