Why do suspect them? Glad it’s getting fixed. There’s a Nissan Juke on my street that a pissed off gf keyed the shit out of. Lots of bad words they are all sanded down now.

Yeah well it’s a long story. First they were dumping there yard clippings onto my property, tried to talk to them but the women living there just yelled and screamed I ended up just walking away. Second they shoveled all there snow onto my property to the point where I couldn’t walk to my front door. I tried to talk to them again but an individual from the house came to the door seen it wasme and walked away. At this point my emotions got the best of me and I honestly was very angry... sooooo I took my snowblower and blew it all back onto there property. I then woke up the next day and realized my truck was keyed. I know there must be something else that I have done to insult them or for them to act this way towards me but to my knowledge and memory I do not believe I have done anything to them.

Did you fuck your neighbor’s wife? That looks like it was a pretty dedicated keying job.

I wasn’t home, I know for a fact that it happened between 8pm to 10pm as the night before I noticed it my gf had picked me up to go for a drive and she noticed the neighbours In question staring out there window and they watched me leave. I own a very protective dog and 9.5 times out of 10 if someone is around the truck or in my yard he will alert me by either barking or growling at the individual at night. There is also a motion detection light in my yard. By all means if I was a little hoodlum and seen a motion detector light go off I’d honestly run away thinking that someone saw me. Also if it was any hoodlum and my dog started barking I’d probably again run away in fear of the owners waking up......UNLESSS I watched the owner leave and knew that no one was home !

I was obviously very angry at the fact that the truck I meticulously polish and wax was keyed. I waited for the husband and wife to come outside that day and I then confronted both of them saying “I know what you did, the neighbour across the street witnessed you damaging my truck” ....... I lied and told them the neighbour across the street seen you “damaging my truck” I did not once mention that it was keyed. The husband then spoke in a different language to his wife and she went inside. He then stated “I don’t have time to talk” and scurried away inside.

I think Any normal person being accused of damaging another individuals vehicle would instantly defend themselves if they were innocent. For instance saying something along the lines of “woah man I didn’t do anything what happened to your truck” or anything that would help there case if they were not guilty?!

Yeah In Manitoba, Canada. The insurance company has no deductible for vandalism claims. But my windshield was chipped and I decided to get that replaced at the same time so I had to pay a low low deductible

I did call the cops, there’s no direct proof/evidence to charge them, in other words if I didn’t see them with my own eyes or have video proof they can’t charge them

Unknown lift, maybe 2" I don't know how to ID it, and would rather set it back to stock.
Time to install a battery of security cameras on your house--Very conspicuously placed so they can see them, and cover all angles: front, sides, back, etc. These have very good resolution now, IR capable for night vision, and are no longer prohibitively expensive. File police reports for every infraction you note, such as them throwing trash, snow onto your property. This will help build your case for harassment, etc.
Do not approach them with any personal complaints again. Go thru the police, and have a proper report filed for your complaint(s).

I to have had to do this for a shitty neighbor. Cops told me document everything and call them everytime.(they hated him too, 3 DUIs in a month when he moved to Oahu)

Wow that sucks. It might be time to look into a camera system. I know after multiple break ins around my area I added a Ring Motion Sensor light camera in place of my normal motion sensor light and it helped me out once when one of the neighbour kids decided to see if he could coat hanger the door open on my work truck.

The cops won’t do anything until someone is assaulted or they are presented with clear evidence. It’s sad but they are literally too busy to deal with every neighbourly domestic spat that comes up.
