Nice! We have a Sealy Black. Was not cheap but we've had it well over 10 years. Get one with that motion isolation feature. Money well spent if either of you toss & turn. We both do.

I wouldn't mind trying a Sleep Number bed. However, some of the beds with the memory foam next to your skin remind me of sleeping on wet sand. Didn't like those during the tests.

Also, to really test them out they say you should lay there for no less than 20 minutes. Do all the "best price" shopping first, then test. It will save you time.

    Good luck.

Sleep number beds are simply programmable, overpriced air mattresses.

Have one, dont care for it, would rather have the $5500 back in my bank account.

I love mine. Keep it set to "hard as a rock" while my wife's side is set to "fluffernutter." If I roll over to her side, though, it feels like I'm about to roll of the edge of a cliff.

Yeah, I screwed around for about a year with adjusting the settings. Now, it is set to 100 (highest) and if I start to get a stiff back or hip/knee issues I drop it allllllllllllllll the way down to 90.

Which means, we could have simply gotten a "stiff" mattress for a tenth of the cost and been fine.

In all fairness to my wife, who was the major proponent of the Sleep Number bed, I was still heavily committed to the "Happy wife, happy life" mantra.

Now, I just tell her its a dumb waste of money, and move on with my life.

Saved us tens of thousands of dollars over the last 9 years.

WE DONT HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY THEM ALL A BOOK EITHER. They will live, or they wont. We arent paying for their funeral either."

Mornin' Sir Edward! How goes the Bod? And the Brain?

I figured out what you need! Some VR stuff. Then you could be sitting on the beach somewhere. You could get a sea breeze scented candle, a fan, and throw the thermostat up to 85! Obviously umbrella drinks! Tropical flavors of course!

Is it one of the newer models? Just curious because like I said it is something I have toyed with. If you are unhappy with one of the newer ones then no point, because that is how I felt about the ones from like 12 years ago.

Thanks Rob, It definitely makes you more aware of how much Mobility one takes for granted.
