Any of you have a preferred inspection spot that will ignore my window tint? I live in Dallas but drive all over the metroplex for work.

I got denied yesterday because my sides are 20% and apparently %25 is legal. F me, right? Do they all check window tint now?

    I know, I’m breaking the law, dad. I don’t need a lecture.

Try rolling down the windows before you pull in.

I did that unintentionally yesterday. He rolled it up and put the meter on it...then called me over to say “nah”.

Did you knowingly put on darker than legal tints or did the tint shop screw up? If you did it knowing full well it was not legal then you'll just have to shop around and find someplace that will overlook it. Can't help you with that though. If the tint shop screwed up, they should make it right. Mine came with a tiny sticker that says it's within legal limits. Don't they make you pay upfront before they do the inspection and not refund your fee if you fail inspection? If so, that could get expensive looking for a lenient inspection site.
