    I just took it out of the back of the truck and sprayed it down with PB blaster. Took all the boots off the terminals and one(yellow one) is completely rusted. Haven't gotten into further.

    And.. I broke the end cap.. I took the end cap off, took the pin out of the handle, tapped it with a hammer and nothing.. Put it back together, sprayed some pb blaster on the ball detent on the handle and added some persuasion.. So the problem is/was the ball detent is rusted in place.
