Carol comes with me if I’m not doing the early bird..
She likes it and helps with the boat lines.
She doesn’t fish but reads and says oooooo and ahhhhh at my catches weather big or small.

Wednesday's don't mean a whole lot this time of year, just an observation. Friday I'll be grilling lbs of pollo asada for the "volunteer close out" meeting so that means one less day of getting things done. My work week started with a 7 1/2 hour day on Sunday and the end of the work week depends on getting that host site sunshade demo'd before Monday. I'm going to talk to the vendor this morning to see when he can get all my jobs started. I gave him a new site shade (20'x40') and 2 side curtains (10'x40') to make and install.

    Good morning.

When Sandy and I met, she was 3 years removed from her previous marriage. I was just over 2 years out...We were essentially starting from scratch to build a new life. And we were both sorta struggling to make ends meet. I had a few things that weren't "life or death" had to have stuff....One being the boat. I wanted to give her a ring that she could be proud of. She would have been happy with something from a Cracker Jack box...

Plan WAS to sell the boat, buy a ring, then buy a NEW boat in a couple years. 20 years later, still no boat....yet....

That will be my retirement gift to myself.
