I'm going to reserve my vote on this one. We've already got a trip planned at the end of May and my April is booked between work / family. Keeping an eye on the thread though. When you guys set a date I'll follow up and see if I can attend.

Gents, has the beach camping trip been confirmed yet? If it is at the end of this month then I should be good to go. (That is if I am invited) The wife wants to go and bring 2 dogs. Just let me know. Need to do the needful to get things planned to nail down a dog sitter.

What up? We spoke about a beach trip. What are your thoughts about rolling to Amelia for a trip? We could also pick another place to accommodate a couple trucks.
I have camped out south of Fernanda beach at a place called Little Talbot Island. Do they have camping at Fort Clinch?
Let’s get this going. I am down to caravan to Amelia Island, Tibbey Island, someplace that makes sense distance wise.

I'm headed there Thursday, also will be there June 8-15 or something like that. I'm down for whatever, but when I'm in Fernandina I'm fishing.

I'm going to Fernandina this week and again in June. If I'm understanding what we are talking about. As far as the next big meet, I have no idea.

Word. I am thinking of rolling that way to do a beach trip. Would love to see the old town, have a nice dinner at Bret’s maybe before I leave. Or some of your fish tacos!!
Any thoughts on places to camp down there?

Ok, trying to figure out now if the wife can make it or not. She is doing school work and is driving whether we go or not.

Cool, I know you mentioned going down there a good bit. I would like to plan up a trip for sure. Do some fishing, camp on the beach. Hit some long sidewalks on the Santa Cruz.
So maybe we can plan a beach trip in June. Get some location options. If he have enough water and awnings we could rock it on the beach for two days.

Pretty sure we still need a location and date. I'll probably let the dates go until the end of this month

Absolutely!! I will be staying in a nice little house across from the beach on the North end. Fish by day, party at night, sounds like the perfect time.

As far as the trip, we discussed something near a body of water. Creek or lake, and you posted some nice pics before.
I have a place up in NC, big enough for the amount of people that I believe would actually make a 4.5hr trip to camp over the weekend.
Just throwing it out there as a idea for a trip or smaller group trip.
Everyone is invited those that are willing to drive that far are more than welcome to crash at my place.
It would be a full on mtn bike, hiking, fishing extravaganza right on my mtn.
No need to drive anywhere but there...however, there are some seeet service roads that take you to some cool places. Smooth roads and lots of nature everywhere.

I'm fine with whatever depending on the weekend. But there is a spot right off of Lake Blueridge that I know of, bring some kayaks and all that jazz and it's only about 2ish hours from Atlanta
