I have the 75, and it's gigantic. Dual zone is nice to have drinks on one side and food on the other, or fridge/freezer combo. Having ice cream cones with the misses while camping over summer was nice too. Also, if you fill both sides with strictly beer it holds a shit ton. :)

It would be nice to have room for drinks without having to cycle them in or have a second ice chest.

The larger side holds roughly 60 cans. If you do go with that size, keep in mind your battery needs to keep it running.

Yeah, I plan on doing a dual battery set up either way.

I've been running a CTECK D250SE for about a year. It manages the solar panel etc as well.

I might expand my battery situation and add the Smartpass 120.

Edit: Sorry I just realized you're looking for a kit. It's pretty easy to just make your own. Spend some time on expedition portal too.

I let a lot of shit slide in this thread, but politics do not belong on this site. All it takes is for one member to report it and everyone participating is going to end up getting vacations. Please take it elsewhere.

Check out Redarc too. I think they have a little more functionality but cost a bit more.

I just went to HF in Rocklin to buy another Midwest 5800, and while in line saw four separate people walking in, that stopped to stare at my truck for a while. One came in and first asked if it was my Tacoma (why'd he assume it was mine - maybe the Jerry Can in my hand?), and then asked about the recover boards, and if they did any good.
After giving my opinion, I heard others start to talk about recoveries and whatnot.

I guess Rocklin has quite a few 'froaders that like to shop at Harbor Freight...

Good ole California! Did they included the fee fee? Or maybe they use of paper fee?

I won't be using the like button to like stuff from the DMV. My 2008 was 289. Then DMV sends me a vehicle license suspension for the 08 and it's fucking burnt. I have the junk slip from DMV but still we are looking so at back fees for it now. License was up in September and the 8th of September it burnt I the fire. These people suck.

I did a lot of research and ended up with Off Grid Engineering kit. Sure you can get trays from a few other vendors but the price and time to get good wires etc adds up. There are a couple threads in the site on these kits. I went for the split system to spread out the weight and avoid wear and tear in the rad supports. Happy to chat more about it if you don’t get enough front the other threads.
